Payment Method

West Coast Strings accepts the following forms of payment:

* Money orders, certified cheques, personal cheques or cash.

* Cheques are to be made payable to West Coast Strings.

Upon booking with West Coast Strings:

* A non‐refundable deposit of 50% of the total amount is required.

* In addition to the deposit, clients must also include a post-dated cheque for the day of the event for the remaining balance.

* If clients decide to terminate the performance contract, the final payment will be returned.

Performance Fees

* All rates are in Canadian currency and include taxes.

* Prices do not include arranging fees or travel expenses.

Travel Expenses

Travel fees apply to events taking place outside of the Greater Vancouver Regional District (GVRD). The calculation of mileage shall
commence at the edge of the recognised regional district.

Fuel Expenses: $0.75/km
Travel fee: $40/hour per musician

Wedding Packages

All one and a half hour wedding packages include the following:

* Professional consultations by e-mail or phone.

* 20-30 minutes of prelude music as Guests arrive and are being seated.

* Music for seating of Parents and/or Grandparents.

* Music for Bridal Party.

* Music for the Bride.

* Music during the Signing or in the case of religious ceremonies, during the Offertory, Communion, etc.

* Recessional for the Bride and Groom.

* Additional music as Guests exit.

Wedding Ceremonies lasting more than one hour and half can be prorated as needed.

Vancouver - Lower Mainland

Rates per group:

Duo: $500
Trio: $750
Quartet: $1000

Duration: 1.5 hours

Includes: Performance rates, fuel expenses and travel fees

Excludes: Grouse Mountain

Fraser Valley - Squamish - Whistler

Rates per group:

Duo: $2000
Trio: $3000
Quartet: $4000

Duration: 3 hours

Includes: Performance rates, fuel expenses and travel fees

Arranging Fees

Arranging fees are incurred when clients request a music selection that is not on the repertoire list of the ensemble in question. Requests must be submitted a minimum of 12 weeks prior to the date of the event, in which time West Coast Strings will purchase any request in
which a published arrangement is in print.

If the submitted request is not in print, West Coast Strings will be using the services of professional arrangers. Prices will vary according to the company, but the client will receive an estimate prior to making a formal request for arranging.
